Amina Twahir Kilagwa is an agribusiness and market systems specialist with over 15 years of professional experience in agribusiness development, food security, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, value chain development, and community economic empowerment. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Agribusiness and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture.
Throughout her career, Amina has worked with reputable international organizations, including Project Concern International (PCI), Catholic Relief Services (CRS), TechnoServe, and World Agroforestry. Her expertise includes business planning, market development, resource mobilization, financial management, sustainable livelihoods, and community capacity building.
She provides strategic leadership on integrating food security, nutrition, economic empowerment, and sustainable livelihood approaches into community health programs. She also contributes to organizational governance, partnership development, and long-term institutional sustainability.
