Kilagwa Ibrahim Twahir is an epidemiologist and One Health digital surveillance specialist focused on community-based disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, digital health innovation, and translating data into practical public health interventions in rural and border communities in Tanzania.
He integrates One Health, digital tools, participatory epidemiology, and community engagement to strengthen disease prevention, early detection, reporting, and timely response to priority public health threats.
At SOHICOHE, he supports surveillance system strengthening, research, digital health implementation, outbreak preparedness, and evidence-based community health interventions that connect human, animal, and environmental health.
